It was an honor designing the branding and artwork for the 2023 World Surf League Longboard Finals.
The best longboard surfers in the world come together in Malibu California to compete for the world title. The finals were held at Surfrider Beach, an iconic righthand point break where much of modern surf culture was born. We wanted to show off the pier and a classic Malibu set rolling in. It was also pretty important to find a way to incorporate the Malibu logo into the poster in a seamless way.
